When to see an oncologist?

Special attention should be given to symptoms that could go unnoticed since we usually don’t associate them with cancer, such as the appearance of a lump or nodule, persistent pain, a spot or mole that changes shape, size, and/or color, unexplained weight loss, newly appeared skin lesions that continue to grow, among others. Early diagnosis improves the prognosis.
